The Free Syrian Army in Nawa destroyed two tanks belonging to the regime forces and the militias supporting them, as their attempts to advance on the city outskirts Monday afternoon failed.
The Free Syrian Army in the towns of Nawa and Tafs were able to repel advance attempts by the regime forces, backed by hundreds of Iranian militiamen, who tried to advance towards Tal al-Samen between the two cities and the town of Tira, for the past two days regime forces based in Daael have been trying to gain control of these areas, after one day of Daael signing a reconciliation with the Syrian regime.
Rebels caused many casualties among regime forces, 40 people were between killed and injured, as well as destroying two tanks and a bmp. Meanwhile, regime forces continued to bombard the area with a heavy barrage of artillery shells and rocket launchers.
In the same context, the Free Syrian Army in Tafs, Daraa Western rural, continue to inflict the regime forces losses, most notably a tank during the confrontations on the axis of the Tabelin checkpoint, while clashes are still taking place since early morning till now in conjunction with artillery and missile attacks on the city.
It is noteworthy that the regime forced are trying since yesterday to storm the city of Tafs, Sida, Nawa, and the air base axis Western Daraa, during which the rebels thwarted regime’s advance attempts and destroyed several vehicles and killed and wounded more than 100 regime forces.
